Engine

• Remove and replace engine oil and filter inspect the condition of the sump and sump plug
• Check and report any general oil leaks
• Check the condition of all ancillary belts, tensioners and pulleys
• Remove and replace the air filter
• Check and report antifreeze strength and minimum temperature
• Check & report the condition and security of the undertray

Drive System

• Check for correct clutch operation
• Check for correct gearbox operation

Electrical

• Check the operation of exterior lights
• Check horn operation
• Check battery condition and print results
• Steering & suspension
• Check the power steering reservoir if applicable
• Check steering and suspension components for wear and corrosion

Exhaust

• Inspect the exhaust system (including catalyst and DPF filters if fitted) for leaks, security and noise.
• Visual check for exhaust smoke

Brakes

• Inspect the brakes front and rear (without removing the wheels)
• Check hand brake operation
• Check brake fluid level
• Carry out brake fluid moisture test and report
• Tyres and Wheels
• Check tyre condition and tread depth (including spare)
• Check and adjust tyre pressures

Vision

• Check the condition and operation of the windscreen wipers, front & rear
• Check windscreen washer operations
• Top up windscreen washer bottle(s)

General

• Reset vehicle service light where applicable
• Lubricate bonnet catch
• Stamp and fill out the service book

• Check & report the condition and security of the undertray

Fuel

• Check the fuel cap seal condition
• Check the visual condition of fuel lines
• Remove and replace the fuel filter if applicable

Drive System

• Check for correct clutch operation
• Check for correct gearbox operation
• Check clutch fluid where applicable
• Check drive shaft gaiters and CV joints for security and report leaks

Electrical

• Check the operation of exterior lights
• Check horn operation
• Check battery security
• Check battery condition and print results

Steering & Suspension

• Check the power steering reservoir where applicable
• Check steering and suspension components for wear and corrosion
• Check the steering rack gaiters’ condition
• Check wheel bearings for excessive play and roughness
• Check shock absorber operation

Exhaust

• Inspect the exhaust system (including catalyst and DPF
• filters if fitted) for leaks, security and noise.
• Visual check for exhaust smoke
• Check AdBlue if applicable

Brakes

• Check front and rear brake discs and pads for wear or damage
• Check brake callipers for leaks and security
• Visually check brake pipes and hoses for any leaks, chafing and corrosion
• Check the security of handbrake linkages and travel.
• Check rear brake drums for wear, cracks, corrosion and scoring or pitting (excluding internal drums)
• Check the brake fluid level as top up as required
• Carry out brake fluid moisture test and report
• Check the operation of the electronic handbrake if applicable

Tyres and Wheels

• Remove road wheels
• Check tyre condition and tread depth (including spare)
• Check and adjust tyre pressures (including spare)

Vision

• Check the condition and operation of the windscreen wipers, front & rear
• Check windscreen washer operations
• Top up windscreen washer bottle(s)
• Check the windscreen for chips and cracks

Internal

• Remove and replace the cabin filter
• Check seat belts, front and rear, including lap belt
• Check the operation of all external door locks
• Lubricate accessible door hinges

General

• Reset vehicle service light where applicable
• Lubricate bonnet catch
• Stamp and fill out the service book
